Today was a National-Holiday in Portugal, celebrating the “Carnation Revolution”.
Had a great time relaxing with the city as they celebrated freedom/individuality. And surprisingly I got a fair bit done, visits to Museo Calouste Gulbenkian, and the district of Belem.
There I took in Mosteiro dos Jeronimos as well as Torre de Belem, totally amazing places :-).
After a well deserved siesta, I had my first taste of Portuguese cuisine at “Jantar”, > supper, very hearty/natural/earthy flavors.
